Marketing Manager - Free Channels - 1 year Fixed Term, AFI Central Marketing

Our vision for Amazon Ultra-Fast-Grocery is to establish Amazon as the first-choice grocery store for our customers worldwide. We are seeking an exceptionally motivated and talented Marketing Manager/Campaign Manager with a strong customer focus and ability to innovate, to develop and execute marketing strategies for our European business.

As the Campaign Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of traffic campaigns across Amazon's Owned & Operated (O&O) channels for the European grocery businesses. Working closely with the central Amazon Fresh International traffic strategy team, you will ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of all marketing campaigns, driving strong customer engagement and topline performance.

This is a unique opportunity to get involved with a rapidly developing Amazon business and make a wide-reaching impact. You will be part of a remote marketing team distributed across the EU, with the option to work from our offices in Germany (Munich), UK (London), Spain (Madrid), Italy (Milan), or France (Paris).

Ideal Candidate for the Campaign Manager Role:
  • Demonstrates strength in Amazon leadership principles such as Deliver Results, Ownership, Earn Trust, Insist on the Highest Standards, and Deep Dive.
  • Has experience leading end-to-end traffic campaigns within e-commerce or grocery industries, preferably across Amazon's O&O channels.
  • Thrives in ambiguous environments, leveraging automation tools and templates to improve efficiency.
  • Possesses excellent project and stakeholder management skills, acting as the main contact for local marketing teams.
  • Has strong technical skills to monitor and optimize campaign performance to meet targets.
  • Experience managing email and push campaigns, including scaling automated campaigns across multiple countries.
  • Prefers working smart, utilizing tools and processes to maximize impact.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and manage scalable customer journeys in multiple European languages, including email, push notifications, and onsite placements.
  • Coordinate with local marketing teams on campaign details, creative, and timing.
  • Use automation tools to streamline tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Monitor campaign performance and optimize in real-time.
  • Collaborate with analytics teams to generate reports and insights for future campaigns.
  • Review all campaign assets for brand consistency and technical quality before launch.
  • Provide guidance on local language and market nuances, supporting the central BMX team.
  • Develop local messaging and targeting strategies to enhance customer engagement and performance.

Note: Candidates will be based in the UK.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Experience in professional marketing roles (non-internship).
  • Proficiency with Excel or Tableau for data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to use data and metrics to measure impact and identify improvements.
  • Experience with onsite, lifecycle marketing, and digital advertising.
  • Knowledge of HTML, XML, and Excel.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and establishing strong partnerships.
