Job description

  • Award winning media events business seeks highly talented Marketing Manager to join their rapidly growing events marketing team working on an exciting tech expo.

Location: Hybrid Working, London

The Marketing Manager will help to plan, organise and execute innovative marketing campaigns primarily across a mix of integrated solutions ranging from email campaigns, paid media, social and partnerships.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning and implementation of exceptional global marketing campaigns, delivered on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in event marketing, brilliant attention to detail, highly creative and an excellent team player with the ability to manage multiple projects to a high standard.

We are also looking for someone who is naturally curious and inquisitive, outgoing and enjoys networking. There will be scope in this role to attend events and meet with the industry.

This role will involve the day to day management of a marketing executive.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Planning and delivering cross-channel digital marketing campaigns
  2. Assisting with the design, production and distribution of all promotional materials relating to the portfolio
  3. Managing a marketing executive
  4. Writing and proofing copy for a range of marketing platforms & materials including websites, social media, emails and brochures
  5. Using digital channels and technologies to enhance the online presence of the business
  6. Managing and segmenting data, identifying gaps, developing new data sources and implementing a data build plan
  7. Continuous analysis and evaluation of marketing campaigns to improve performance
Key Knowledge & Skills Required:
  1. 3 years + in event marketing – conferences and/or exhibitions
  2. Solid understanding of the digital media landscape
  3. Strategic mindset
  4. Proven ability to learn new tools and software quickly and independently
  5. Strong experience in areas including insight development and audience segmentation
  6. Literate and numerate with exemplary verbal and written English
  7. Proficient in Microsoft Office programmes
  8. Experience using a CRM system such as Pardot or Salesforce
  9. Experience using a website CMS
  10. In depth knowledge of marketing performance metrics
