About Us

We are a mission-driven accessibility start-up dedicated to transforming how neurodivergent individuals navigate their educational and professional journeys.

Since launching our first product, Present Pal, back in 2018, Estendio has empowered students across over 150 universities in the UK and US to excel in their presentations and communication skills, growing to a team of 17. Building on this success, we are now launching our second product, Tailo, an innovative reading platform designed to revolutionise content accessibility and comprehension.

What were looking for

Were now looking for a Marketing Manager with a breadth of marketing knowledge and a skillset that leans towards product or creative/brand marketing. This is an individual contributor role with a focus on being hands-on as well as supporting strategy with strategic thinking.

Reporting to Cara, our Chief Marketing Officer, youll be a key part of a creative and fast-paced team working alongside our current Marketing Manager and a group of talented marketing freelancers.

What this actually looks like

Variety and flexibility is key to this role and working in a growing tech startup, no two days are the same!

This role is supporting a small marketing team where strategic thinking is a key part of the day-to-day. At the moment we are in a critical growth phase where our focus is mostly on execution fuelling us forward with our ambitious goals.

Examples Of What You Might Be Doing

You could be creating a landing page from scratch on WordPress to support lead capture for a conference.

You could be optimising email open rates by testing new subject lines and building creative copy to increase student product activations.

You could be watching user interviews to help create new messaging for a new release, and a cross-channel marketing campaign for disability professionals.

What youll bring

Experience

Youll be successful in this role if you bring the following;

  • Hands-on experience working in a small to medium startup environment, where youve demonstrated the ability to switch between practical execution and strategic thinking.
  • Proven track record in working in a brand/creative or product marketing role.
  • Strong background supporting and delivering end-to-end multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Solid experience creating custom landing pages for websites.
  • Demonstrable experience developing compelling stories that align with your brand and customers interests.
  • Exposure to community building and social media through a multitude of channels including TikTok, Linkedin, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • An understanding, or some experience of lead generation campaigns and working alongside sales teams to deliver impactful results.

  • Versatile marketing skills: Ability to execute various marketing tactics, from digital marketing to lead generation activities to content creation.
  • Creativity: Innovative mindset for developing compelling campaigns and product messaging.
  • Customer understanding: Curiosity about customer needs and behaviours to inform product positioning and messaging.
  • Digital marketing proficiency: Familiarity with online marketing channels, social media, CRM, and analytics tools such as Hubspot, Google Analytics, Instagram.
  • Creative problem-solving: Innovative thinking to overcome challenges and seize opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to convey ideas clearly to both internal teams and external audiences.
  • Project management: Strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Collaboration: Team-oriented mindset to work closely with developers, sales, and leadership.
  • Technology: Familiarity with digital tools and platforms such as Miro, ChatGPT and Slack.
  • Analytical thinking: Ability to track performance metrics, analyse campaign success, and optimise strategies based on data.
