Job Description

A fantastic opportunity for a proactive Marketing Manager to make a real impact, working within a passionate, forward-thinking Marketing and Business Development team!

At Bidwells, we are going through an exciting period of growth and continued success. We are looking for a driven Marketing Manager to drive end-to-end campaigns, working closely with our earners across the business to drive revenue growth. This is a varied, hands-on, and rewarding role encompassing the full marketing mix, where you will be given the autonomy to run campaigns using online and offline channels. This role can be based either within our Cambridge or London office, with some flexible hybrid working. Some travel for events and to other offices will occasionally be required (including Scotland). Travel to the Cambridge office may be required more frequently.

Bidwells helps clients turn climate ambition into strategic advantage—unlocking environmental and financial value across forestry, renewables, and natural capital. In 2024, we became the UK's first multi-disciplinary property consultancy to achieve B Corp status, underlining our commitment to people, planet, and purpose.

What you'll be doing:
  • End-to-end project management of marketing campaigns, delivering on time and to budget.
  • Develop creative campaigns for brand awareness; lead Account Based Marketing (ABM), etc.
  • Develop creative briefs and manage communication channels (email, socials, website, event platforms, etc.); review creative assets.
  • Collaborate with communications specialists and external agencies to develop engaging content for various channels such as email marketing, website, video, podcasts, events, and social media.
  • Manage on- and offline events from start to finish (including seminars, conferences, webinars, exhibitions, sponsored events, etc.).
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for our earners.
  • Identify profile-raising opportunities for Bidwells and individuals, such as sponsorships and speaking engagements.
  • Develop collateral that resonates with our clients and targets, aligned with our brand and core markets; promote and enforce adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Manage marketing priorities, track results, and share performance insights with leadership.
  • Analyze marketing performance metrics using our CRM (HubSpot) to support data-driven decisions. Continuously monitor and improve campaign performance to generate leads.
  • Liaise and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support and mentor junior members of the marketing team.
About You:

For this exciting Marketing Manager role, we are ideally looking for:

  • Extensive experience in marketing and full end-to-end campaign management.
  • Experience in a sustainability sector (e.g., renewables energy or natural capital) is essential.
  • Strong English copywriting skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for different channels and audiences.
  • Experience in online and in-person event management, including logistics.
  • Excellent email marketing and social media skills.
  • Experience with digital content and video production is preferable.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills; able to influence senior stakeholders and collaborate across teams.
  • Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills; able to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Quick learner of new online tools and systems. Experience with Zoom/Teams webinars, CRM systems, website CMS, Canva, and PlayPlay will be highly advantageous.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent would be preferable.
