About the Role

Are you passionate about promoting books that inspire young minds? We are seeking a skilled Marketing Manager to champion our range of children’s fiction and non-fiction. This is a permanent position within our trade and consumer marketing team.

Role Overview:

As part of our Children’s and Home Learning marketing team, you will drive marketing initiatives for our front and backlist fiction, as well as non-fiction and reading resources for ages 5+. Based in Oxford, you will work from the office 2 days a week, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders, including authors, agents, and marketing/PR agencies.

We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office.

About You

  • Previous marketing experience in an education or trade publisher
  • Ability to interrogate customer and marketing data and generate insights
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team working skills
  • Innovative and creative
  • Experience of managing a budget
  • Ability to prioritize a heavy workload with maximum attention to detail
  • Experience of managing projects
  • Previous experience marketing to consumers, specifically booksellers and parents
  • Knowledge of the trade and consumer market
