Job Description

The Marketing Manager, Carbon Products, is a unique role within the Commercial marketing team. You will play a crucial part in aligning our sales, product and marketing efforts, leading on the proposition and product positioning, building brand awareness, defining our lead generation strategies, and contributing to the overall growth and success of the company. This role is a hybrid of product marketing and demand generation, responsible for the launch, expansion and long-term success of a strategically important, new product portfolio.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead campaign go-to-market strategy for one of Fastmarkets’ newest products by collaborating with cross-functional teams in sales, marketing, and product to create and execute demand-generation strategies that drive high-quality leads and pipeline growth.
  • Drive multi-channel marketing campaigns that increase lead flow to deliver on New Business, deepen relationships with existing customers to retain and grow accounts, and build new relationships within existing accounts leveraging account engagement strategies.
  • Develop captivating value propositions, messaging and product collateral to clearly communicate the product's unique value to target audiences.
  • Develop and implement tailored account-based marketing strategies and campaigns for high-value accounts to increase customer engagement and drive revenue growth.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on performance metrics, hold teams accountable to achieving goals, and provide recommendations for improvement based on data-driven insights.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure the sales team understands marketing plan and campaign activities impacting lead flow and ensure there is a seamless lead handoff between Sales and Marketing and an ongoing feedback loop.
  • Oversee the events and partnership strategy for the Fastmarkets Carbon portfolio, working closely with the channel teams and Strategic Partnership team to ensure goals are aligned and deliverables are met.
  • Build best-in-class nurture programs, that include regular a/b test, learn, and optimize approaches for educating higher funnel leads and bringing through to consideration and conversion.

Qualifications

We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated, driven, and looking to be a key part of a fast-paced, successful team. Being a strong team player is important as well as someone who is happy to work autonomously, managing priorities and being accountable for delivering on targets.

  • Relevant experience in product marketing, lead generation, or demand generation, preferably within the market data and analytics industry.
  • A proven track record of developing and executing successful product launch campaigns that drive growth of product adoption and year-on-year revenue growth.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze and interpret data, and use insights to drive action and results.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools.
  • Strong time management and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field.
