About the role

BTF is seeking a passionate and experienced Marketing Lead to lead our marketing efforts and drive attendance to our annual conference. This role will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing campaigns, managing our social media presence, and collaborating with sponsors to maximize their participation and reach.

Requirements

  • Conference Marketing:
    • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the BTF conference and drive ticket sales.
    • Manage marketing budgets and track campaign performance.
    • Create compelling marketing materials including website copy, email campaigns, social media content, and print collateral.
    • Explore and secure partnerships with relevant media outlets and organizations.
    • Analyze attendee data and identify trends to inform future marketing strategies.
  • Sponsor Activation:
    • Collaborate with sponsors to develop and execute impactful marketing activations that align with their objectives and conference goals.
    • Manage sponsor relationships and ensure contractual obligations are met.
    • Identify new sponsorship opportunities and secure new partnerships.
  • Social Media Management:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across all relevant platforms.
    • Create engaging content including text, images, and videos to grow our online community and drive engagement.
    • Monitor social media channels for mentions and respond to comments and inquiries.
    • Track social media performance and provide regular reports on key metrics.
  • Content Creation:
    • Create high-quality content including blog posts, articles, and website updates to promote the conference and engage our audience.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to source content and ensure consistent messaging.
    • Optimize content for search engines to improve online visibility.
  • Acquisition Marketing:
    • Develop and implement strategies to drive ticket sales and increase conference attendance.
    • Manage online advertising campaigns across various platforms.
    • Track and analyze acquisition marketing performance to optimize campaigns and maximize ROI.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on event marketing
  • 3+ Years driving growth and engagement across social media channels .
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices.
  • Experience working with sponsors and managing partnerships.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools and analytics platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for technology and the BTF mission.

Desirable:

  • Experience with graphic design and video editing.
  • Familiarity with the events and conference industry

Annual SalaryThe expected salary range for this position is:

£37,000 - £40,000 GBP
