Job description

Marketing Manager, Amazon Flex and I Have Space

At Amazon, we are building an excellent last mile operation in India, significantly supported by Amazon Flex and I Have Space channels. Amazon Flex works directly with independent contractors (ICs) — called delivery partners (DPs) — to make deliveries to our customers. With Amazon Flex, partners are their own bosses, able to build their own schedules and choose from different opportunities (scheduled-ahead blocks, instant offers), all while earning great income. I Have Space (IHS) collaborates with local Kirana stores, which deliver shipments in their free time on behalf of Amazon within their catchment areas. Both programs are powered by a mobile app that integrates with our advanced systems, allowing partners to sign in, check out, and perform other tasks.

In this role, you will be part of the marketing team focused on enabling partners to onboard more quickly and ensuring all onboarded partners begin working with Amazon. You will also work closely with third-party (3P) partners to facilitate the onboarding process.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Define, design, launch, and manage programs in India within Amazon Flex & IHS, primarily focusing on hyperlocal and on-demand business lines.
  2. Gather requirements and develop product and program solutions to address business challenges sustainably.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders across various functions to define, launch, and drive programs, acting as a bridge between operations and support teams such as business operations, product teams, and field operations.
  4. Improve operating costs through technology and process interventions, influencing stakeholders without direct authority to drive medium to large projects, building scalable mechanisms in a highly ambiguous environment while balancing quality and speed.
  5. Engage with senior India and global leaders through discussions and well-crafted narratives, and expand programs as per Amazon’s requirements, maintaining responsibility for customer satisfaction and performance metrics.
A day in the life

The key daily activities include:

  1. Tracking key performance metrics such as active DPs/stores at the site level, onboarding TAT, and funnel metrics.
  2. Collaborating with stakeholders (operations, 3P vendors) to create pools of stores or DPs.
  3. Influencing stakeholders across levels, from operations to leadership, without direct authority.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 4+ years of professional marketing experience (non-internship).
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Proficiency with Excel or Tableau, including data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables.
  • Experience building and scaling cross-functional marketing programs from concept to execution.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience using customer research, data, and metrics to support assumptions, generate forecasts, and evaluate marketing program efficacy.
  • Experience with systems and tools like email, web analytics, and CRM platforms (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce) for targeting, segmentation, and reporting.
