Overall job purpose

This individual will work as part of the consulting marketing team to deliver a collaborative approach to our client solutions. This role will create and lead the national marketing and communications strategy for Consulting's Finance Function Support solution.

They will be responsible for developing and monitoring the full range of marketing and communications activities to support the growth strategy for this solution, working closely with the multiple teams that support this solution.

Working collaboratively across our six solutions, they will agree and execute shared routes to market through integrated campaigns and communications with a focus on industries.

Working closely with the Head of Consulting Marketing, this role will contribute to the wider solution strategy and promote best practices within their solution offerings and as part of the consulting marketing team.

Responsibilities

Marketing strategy and planning

  • Lead marketing for Finance Function Support, collaborating with department heads to understand growth strategies and plan marketing and communications accordingly.
  • Work across all consulting solutions to support the overall vision and strategy.
  • Execute key marketing and communications activities, demonstrating return on investment.
  • Coordinate with the wider marketing team to ensure effective rollout of national activities across industries and locations.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders including department heads and the Head of Finance Function Support.
  • Support personal branding and messaging efforts for the Head of Finance Function Support.
  • Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to support technical content and messaging.

Campaigns and communications

  • Develop and lead campaigns from inception to delivery, ensuring messaging consistency.
  • Manage and optimize content for the Finance Function Support on the website.
  • Coordinate with campaign and industry teams to support solutions and generate opportunities.
  • Lead social media activity, developing content and advising commentators.
  • Identify new marketing opportunities and monitor ROI to inform future strategies.
  • Manage internal communications channels and knowledge sharing initiatives.

Bids

  • Collaborate with the Bid team on content creation for business development.
  • Maintain credentials, case studies, and testimonials to support lead generation.
  • Utilize client insights to shape future campaigns and communications.

Other

  • Build networks and external relationships as appropriate.
  • Support other solutions and projects as directed.

Personal and professional qualities

The role requires:

  • Experienced marketing and business development professional, especially in lead generation and campaign management.
  • Strong understanding of marketing fundamentals within professional services.
  • Effective communicator with influencing skills and ability to work across levels.
  • Commercial awareness and experience.
  • Project management skills with multiple relationships.
