Nigel Wright is delighted to be supporting a highly successful, growth orientated business, currently seeking a strategic, results-driven Marketing Manager to lead its marketing function and elevate brand presence across multiple group companies. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic individual with a strong background in B2B marketing, digital strategy, and campaign execution to make a real impact. The role is office based in Middlesbrough.
The Role;
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a marketing team of five, providing direction, support, and development.
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Drive digital marketing initiatives including SEO, PPC, email marketing, social media, and website optimisation.
- Oversee the creation of compelling marketing content such as brochures, white papers, case studies, videos, and product guides.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to drive lead generation, pipeline growth, and customer engagement.
- Ensure brand consistency across all platforms and communications.
- Analyse campaign performance, customer behaviour, and market trends to inform strategy.
- Manage the marketing budget, external vendors, and third-party partnerships.
- Coordinate trade shows, industry events, and sponsorship opportunities.
- Operate comfortably at both a strategic and hands-on level, contributing to high-level planning while also executing day-to-day marketing activities.
Experience / Skills
- 3–5 years of experience in marketing/management, ideally within B2B or industrial sectors.
- Proven success in executing both digital and traditional marketing campaigns.
- Proficient in marketing tools and platforms
- Strong communication, project management, and organisational skills.
- Experience in international marketing and e-commerce is highly desirable.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across departments.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team with varied specialisms within the marketing discipline.
- Hands-on approach with the ability to balance strategic thinking and operational execution.
