Job summary

Adecco is recruiting a Marketing Manager for a Sheffield-based manufacturing client. You will lead and deliver the marketing strategy, balancing strategic planning with hands-on delivery to drive brand awareness and generate high-quality leads.

You’ll work with sales leadership to align marketing activities with commercial goals and grow the business in target markets. The role requires a creative, commercially minded marketer with strong SEO, digital advertising, content creation and analytics

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of SEO, Google Ads, digital marketing and social media management.
  • Proven track record of generating leads and supporting business growth.
  • Experience managing websites, analytics platforms, and marketing performance reporting.
  • Excellent content creation, copywriting, and communication skills.
  • Strong project management and organisational capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage lead generation campaigns to create a strong pipeline of marketing-qualified leads.
  • Work closely with sales teams to align marketing activity with commercial objectives.
  • Produce sales collateral including brochures, presentations, case studies, and supporting marketing materials.
  • Measure campaign effectiveness and optimise activity to maximise return on investment.
  • Plan and coordinate trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events.
  • Manage advertising opportunities within relevant industry publications and associations.
  • Identify opportunities to increase market visibility, customer engagement, and brand awareness.
  • Manage marketing budgets and ensure cost-effective campaign delivery.
  • Maintain marketing documentation, systems, and asset libraries.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies, suppliers, and creative partners.
  • Ensure effective version control and governance of marketing materials.

About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, an established and thriving manufacturing business who are seeking an experienced and commercially-minded Marketing Manager to lead and deliver their marketing strategy.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and results-driven marketing professional who enjoys balancing strategic planning with hands-on delivery. The role will be responsible for driving brand awareness, generating high-quality leads, enhancing digital presence, and supporting ambitious business growth plans.

Working closely with the sales leadership team, you'll play a key role in developing marketing initiatives that deliver measurable commercial outcomes while strengthening the company's position within its target markets.

Key Responsibilities
Brand & Strategic Marketing
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with business growth objectives.

About You

Essential Requirements
  • Previous experience within a Marketing Manager or similar marketing leadership role.
