The role of Marketing Manager is to support the growth of the business through client-first marketing and business development strategies which align to and ignite the vision of delivering an exceptional legal experience.

What will you do?
Working collaboratively with the Practice Area Leads to develop and execute client-first marketing and business development strategies, firmwide and per department, that deliver on consistent social proof points and support earned growth.
Working collaboratively with the Head of Talent & Client Experience and Client Services Team Leader to create and implement a cross-selling strategy to maximise growth and loyalty from the firm's existing client base.
Outlined below are a number of the duties that this role entails;
Strategic support
To develop and manage an SEO strategy that increases the firm's rankings and maintains top rankings on search engine results pages, delivered by an external agency.
To develop and manage a commercially aware PPC strategy that increases leads and new client conversions, delivered by an external agency.
To develop and oversee the social media marketing strategy.
To align all marketing and business development initiatives to the three key filters which reflect the exceptional legal experience vision:
Reporting and process improvement
To manage the firm's website and report on organic and paid traffic conversions and ROI using analytics and/or external agencies.
To work closely with the management team to deliver on the exceptional legal experience reporting factors through client-first process and technical developments.
To communicate marketing and business development data, strategies and budget reports with the Head of Finance & Operations and, if required, the Leadership Board.
Content creation
To work closely with the Head of Talent & Client Experience to identify relevant awards and create compelling entries for the firm.
To work closely with Heads of Departments to create submissions for specific practice area law firm rankings such as Legal 500 and Chambers as required.
To develop and deliver internal communication projects that support the cultural change that aligns to the firm's vision.
Act as a brand guardian and ensure consistency of the Wolferstans brand guidelines across all marketing materials, literature and communications.
Plan and execute marketing campaigns across various channels, including email marketing, social media, PPC and events.
Budget management
To manage the marketing and business development budgets with consistent commercial awareness.
Events and community
To oversee community involvement including fundraising and support of the firm's Charity of the Year.
To attend networking events that contribute to the growth of the department, as required.
Plan and manage firm events, webinars, seminars, and other promotional activities as required, ensuring events are effectively marketed and executed to enhance the firm's reputation and client relationships.
People
To manage the Marketing Executive (and any other team members) and lead in a way that facilitates growth and development of the person and role.
