About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, organised, and proactive senior manager to assist and deputise for the Head of Sales and Marketing. The role will support the Head of Sales & Marketing across a range of strategic and operational responsibilities. This is a broad and dynamic role that spanssales, account management, marketing strategy, andcustomer service oversight.
The successful candidate will act as a key deputy, helping to lead the team, drive growth, and ensure a seamless experience for clients and customers across all touchpoints.
Final salary dependent on experience.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Account Management
- Support the Head of Sales & Marketing in managing the sales pipeline and tracking performance.
- Act as a backup on key accounts, handling client meetings and correspondence as needed.
- Assist with reporting and forecasting.
- Help onboard new clients and ensure a smooth handover to customer support.
Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Assist in executing and monitoring the marketing strategy, working with internal teams and/or agencies.
- Help coordinate campaign planning, content calendars, and performance reviews.
- Ensure marketing efforts are aligned with sales objectives and brand guidelines.
Customer Service Oversight
- Provide leadership support to the customer service team.
- Act as a point of escalation for complex or high-priority customer issues.
- Monitor service quality metrics and contribute to process improvement.
Team Support & Coordination
- Provide day-to-day support to team members across the sales and marketing functions.
- Help coordinate interdepartmental communication and ensure projects stay on track.
- Deputise for the Head of Sales & Marketing in internal meetings and when unavailable.
About You
- 5+ years’ experience in sales, account management, or marketing - preferably in a commercial or B2C environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- A confident communicator with good written and verbal skills.
- Able to think strategically while being hands-on with daily operations.
- Comfortable using CRM systems, marketing tools, and analytics platforms.
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience managing or supporting customer service functions.
- Background in the EV, energy, or tech sectors.
- Experience with HubSpot, Mailchimp, or similar platforms.
