Marketing Manager

  • Annual Salary: Up to £50,000 depending on experience + Bonus
  • Location: Manchester
  • Job Type: Hybrid (1 day work from home, flexible working hours)

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Marketing Manager to lead multi-channel campaigns for a successful consumer brand. This role is crucial in driving awareness, traffic, and conversion across both ecommerce and retail partners, shaping how customers discover and connect with the brand and its partner brands—online and in store.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns across digital (email, social, paid media, SEO) and traditional channels (in-store POS, print, trade shows).
  • Develop and manage campaign calendars for ecommerce and retail partners.
  • Collaborate closely with ecommerce, sales, and creative teams to ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Drive online customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty through data-led strategies.
  • Lead product launches and seasonal campaigns, including copywriting briefs, asset management, and reporting.
  • Manage relationships with retail partners to support in-store marketing and point-of-sale materials.
  • Oversee campaign performance, analysing key metrics and optimising for ROI.
  • Manage budgets and ensure efficient use of marketing spend.
  • Lead a small marketing team, fostering a collaborative and dynamic work environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar Marketing Manager role within a consumer product, retail, or ecommerce business.
  • MUST have experience of working in retail/fashion/home/beauty - essential
  • Experience with retail marketing and some brand marketing.
  • Essential experience includes product launches, in-store POS, trade shows, working with influencers, and managing social media channels.
  • Team management experience.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and retail activation.
  • Desirable: Experience working with ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Amazon) and familiarity with retail marketing calendars.
  • A creative thinker who is also highly organised and analytical.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Confident working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
