Head of Marketing

Manchester

£45k - £55k

Our fantastic in-house client doesn’t do beige or boring; and they’re looking for a new Head of Marketing that thinks the same as they do. The successful applicant for this exciting opportunity will lead the charge on their brand, campaigns, events and everything in between, as well as managing a small but mighty team of two and working side-by-side with the leadership to make sure they continue to punch above their weight.

The role in a nutshell

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies for our growing list of projects, from the day you get your hands on them, to launch, and beyond
  • Dream up and implement bold, attention-grabbing multichannel campaigns that drive leads, boost engagement, and deliver ROI
  • Lead and manage the marketing team, keeping the creativity flowing and enabling the team to continue working at best
  • Set and track key marketing KPIs to measure effectiveness, ROI and spend
  • Manage media planning and digital ad spend to ensure every penny pulls its weight
  • Be the brand guardian, making sure everything from TikToks to press releases feel unmistakably “them”.
  • Oversee PR, social media, community engagement, and reputation management
  • Develop PR strategies, write press releases, often in collaboration with partners
  • Write for a mix of purposes, from short, snappy window ads, to longer form award entries
  • Bring our places to life with everything from public consultations to pop-up events, food fests and community takeovers.
  • Manage, support and cheerlead your team to do their best work.
  • Build solid relationships with everyone from residents to councils, commercial tenants to creative partners.
  • Use insight and data to sharpen campaigns, evolve our approach and keep growing our impact.

Well, you’ll need to have plenty of bold, fresh ideas and want to get stuck in. You’ll need to be super organised too, with the ability to lead the marketing and design team to success. We’re not like your average business, so want someone with out-there thinking and a creative mind.
