Marketing Manager

Application Deadline: 23 May 2025

Department: Digital

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: PURPLE London

Reporting To: Richard Lee Massey

Compensation: GBP 40,000 - GBP 45,000 / year

Description

If you've got a sixth sense for what makes people click, scroll, and engage - keep reading. PURPLE is on the hunt for a Marketing Manager who's equal parts strategist and storyteller. We're not looking for someone to just "manage channels." We want someone who can shape them. Someone who knows how to turn a post into a conversation.

About PURPLE

We like to think of ourselves as a creative PR (and Digital) agency that blends culture, content, and commerce. Our clients are bold, our ideas are braver, and our team? The best in class. You'll be joining our Digital team, reporting directly to the VP of Digital, and collaborating with creatives, strategists, and clients who want to make noise (the good kind).

What You'll Be Doing

  • Own the digital ecosystem: From Instagram grids to LinkedIn thought leadership, you'll be the architect of our online presence.
  • Craft engaging content: Collaborate with the team to produce scroll-stopping visuals, thoughtful captions, and stories that spark conversation and build brand affinity.
  • Strategise and optimise: Use data to inform decisions, fine-tune campaigns in real-time, and always be testing and learning.
  • Lead with insight: Stay ahead of platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging trends to keep PURPLE at the forefront. Be continuously in tune with new technologies - including AI tools and smarter workflows - to optimise how we create, communicate, and operate.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with PR, Digital, and New Business teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all touchpoints.
  • Assist with case study decks, creds decks, and new business proposals where required: Support the team in building compelling narratives that showcase our work and help win new opportunities.
  • Report to the VP of Digital: Providing regular updates, insights, and recommendations to shape and evolve our digital strategy.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Experience: 5+ years in digital marketing, with a strong portfolio showcasing impactful brand-building campaigns across various platforms.
  • Platform proficiency: Deep understanding of Instagram and LinkedIn, with familiarity across emerging platforms a plus.
  • Creative flair: Ability to think outside the box and bring fresh ideas to the table.
  • Strong communicator: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adaptable: Thrive in a fast-paced environment and pivot strategies as needed.

Bonus points if you have

  • Experience in the fashion, beauty, or lifestyle sectors.
  • Familiarity with SEO, SEM, and paid media campaigns.
  • Knowledge of content management systems and email marketing platforms.

Why PURPLE?

  • Culture: A supportive, inclusive environment where creativity thrives.
  • Growth: Opportunities to learn, lead, and level up in your career.
  • Perks: Competitive salary and access to industry events.
