The Ivy Asia is seeking a Marketing Manager passionate about food and dining to deliver engaging marketing strategies for our unique venues. This role involves creating marketing plans, managing events, conducting market research, and collaborating with restaurant teams to enhance local community engagement. Applicants should have strong communication skills, digital marketing experience, and a creative mindset, ensuring that the dining experience is elevated through effective marketing efforts.

Qualifications

  • Currently a Marketing Manager or experienced Marketing Executive within a high quality restaurant or hotel group.
  • Passionate about food and restaurants with a keen interest in the food scene.
  • Excellent copy writing skills and good eye for design.
  • Confident communicator with excellent written skills.
  • Experienced in digital communication.
  • Historical experience with partnership marketing and event creation and planning.
  • Proactive with a can-do attitude with the ability to multi-task.
  • Team player who can build relationships with restaurant teams.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for delivering the monthly marketing plans for specific restaurants.
  • Writing engaging and on-brand copy for individual sites.
  • Understanding the local community and identifying key opportunities for engagement.
  • Brief and manage the creation of marketing collateral to support key activations.
  • Create and manage the distribution of all marketing for restaurant activities.
  • Support in the updating and development of the restaurant websites / social media / local news.
  • Work effectively with the operations teams to create and deliver local marketing initiatives.
  • Conduct market and competitor research.
  • Work with the data agency to create customer profiles and identify new markets.
  • Manage engagement planning for corporate audience sets.
  • Lead marketing for new openings.
  • Support team with idea generation for group-wide activity.
  • Ensure a strong events calendar is in place per site.
  • Identify local community partnerships to increase brand profile.
  • Drive newsletter sign-ups and engagement.
  • Create post-activation reports to understand ROI and key learnings.
  • Work with the PR Manager on site planning and strategy.

The key responsibilities of theMarketing Managerwill include:

  • Responsible for delivering the monthly marketing plans for specific restaurants

  • Brief and manage the creation of online and offline marketing collateral to support key activations
  • Create and manage the distribution of all marketing for restaurant activities
  • Support in the updating and development of the restaurant websites / social media / local news
  • Work effectively with the operations teams to create and deliver local marketing initiatives
  • Conduct market and competitor research
  • Work with the data agency to create customer profiles by site, and identify new markets and opportunities
  • Manage the corporate engagement planning and activation for your sites with Private Dining or key corporate audience sets
  • New openings – team effort for ALL openings, but one marketing manager will take the lead
  • Work as part of the marketing team to support with idea generation or on key group wide activity
  • Ensure a strong events calendar is in place per site
  • Identify local community partnerships with like-minded brands to increase brand profile
  • Drive newsletter sign ups and engagement with interesting content which encourages bookings
  • Create post activation reports to understand ROI and key learnings
  • Work with the PR Manager with planning and strategy for each of their sites

The idealMarketing Managerwill:

  • Currently be a Marketing Manager or experienced Marketing Executive within a high quality restaurant or hotel group
  • Passionate about food and restaurants and a keen interest in the food scene is desirable
  • Have excellent copy writing skills and a good eye for design
  • A confident communicator with excellent written skills
  • Be experienced in digital communication
  • Historical experience with partnership marketing and event creation and planning
  • Proactive with a can-do attitude with the ability to multi task
  • A team player who is able to build relationships with the restaurant teams
  • Able to use a MAC is desirable and Photoshop experience will be beneficial
