Reporting to:
Chief People & Sustainability Officer

Established in 1984, MAK-SYSTEM’s vision is to design, develop, and deliver globally best-of-breed software to manage Blood, Plasma, Tissue, and Cells from end to end using the best technologies and functionalities for the patient’s benefit. Our software solutions support the digital transformation of organizations such as:

  • Transfusion Services
  • Tissue Banks
  • Stem Cell Labs
  • Cell and Gene Therapy (SME to Big Pharma, CMOs, Hospitals)

Following a private equity investment in 2020, the business is undergoing rapid growth and transformation. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing the MAK Corporate brand and each Product brand. This includes identifying and delivering annual marketing priorities to build awareness and support our commercial growth. The role also supports the People team on employer branding, especially in North Macedonia.

MAK-SYSTEM products are regulated as Medical Devices. This is a highly commercial, hands-on role involving creation of marketing materials and messaging. The role requires working across multiple stakeholders, setting priorities, and delivering outcomes. It demands the ability to generate ideas and create marketing content independently.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy and Planning

  • Update and refine the MAK-SYSTEM corporate brand, images, and messages with the Chief People & Sustainability Officer.
  • Develop and refine product messages with Sales and Product teams to support commercial goals.
  • Identify employer branding messages with the People Team and create communication programs.
  • Collaborate with the Chief People & Sustainability Officer on ESG messaging.

Branding

  • Manage external agency for branding materials.
  • Oversee MAK-SYSTEM logos, trademarks, and brand imagery.
  • Ensure internal and external communications support the brand.
  • Standardize collateral such as PowerPoint templates, letterheads, email signatures, and visuals.

Digital Marketing

  • Manage and improve the MAK-SYSTEM website and social media channels.
  • Implement quarterly social media campaigns.
  • Manage digital marketing activities like PPC and SEO.
  • Develop content for customer communication and marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinate email campaigns with regional teams.
  • Apply data-driven marketing and analytics approaches.
  • Create and update product brochures and marketing collateral.
  • Assist in preparing materials for conferences and standard presentations.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Understand marketing regulation impacts across jurisdictions.
  • Work with Regulatory Team to approve marketing materials.
  • Ensure compliance with Data Privacy Regulations and product regulatory approvals.

Key Experiences/Qualifications

  • Experience in marketing within regulated medical device or pharmaceutical sectors.

  • Knowledge of blood transfusion or CGT is a plus.
  • Understanding of SaaS or PaaS is a plus.
  • Proven ability to create marketing materials and messages.
  • Strong stakeholder relationship skills.

  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
