Salary: SCP 52-55 (£68,227 - £73,069) per annum

Shift Pattern: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

About the role

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for brand strategy, brand development, the delivery of brand outputs, and channel optimisation for all stakeholders, including corporate, customer, and staff-facing audiences at Wheatley.

This is a hands-on role for someone with an exceptional ability to inspire and guide the business strategically.

The successful candidate will lead the marketing team to deliver outstanding outcomes for customers and to create positive experiences by enhancing brand relevance, quality, and consistency across both traditional and digital channels.

With a creative flair and strategic insight, the Marketing Manager will excel in creative thinking and presenting conceptual ideas to senior management, ultimately providing a professional in-house marketing service for a diverse and dynamic organisation.

The Marketing Manager will inspire and support the ongoing development of the marketing and design teams. Working side-by-side with the Communications Manager, you will ensure the delivery of a modern and relevant communications and marketing service for one of Scotland’s leading businesses.

Who are we looking for?

Our ideal candidate will be an experienced hands-on marketer at a senior manager level. You will be able to demonstrate effective management of a complex brand portfolio while embedding organisational culture and delivering outstanding outcomes for customers. This will be achieved by ensuring brand quality and consistency through campaigns and optimising the use of both traditional and digital channels.

The Marketing Manager will be a leader who can inspire and support the continuous development of the marketing and design teams. Key skills include leadership, creativity, and innovative thinking, along with a passion for generating viable, new approaches and solutions aligned with a thorough understanding of strategic positioning and branding.
