As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a dynamic and creative Marketing Manager to join our team and lead our marketing initiatives.

As the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing the strategic marketing plans, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and driving brand awareness. Working closely with the Head of Sales, you will play a key role in shaping brand positioning, supporting commercial growth, and driving engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans to increase brand recognition and drive sales.
  • Marketing Mix: Take responsibility for the entire marketing mix to achieve marketing and company objectives.
  • Manage initiatives: Help Watson effectively target industry segments (verticals) both in the UK and globally with our distributor network.
  • Campaign Management: Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital, print, social media, and events utilizing all the tools in the promotional mix.
  • Content Creation and Design: Manage the team leading content creation, graphic design, collateral development including website copy, blog posts, email newsletters, and social media content, ensuring alignment with brand voice and values.
  • Brand Development: Enhance brand identity and position the company as a leading player in the fitness and gym equipment industry.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product development, and customer service teams to align marketing strategies with business objectives.
  • Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a small marketing team, fostering a results-driven culture.
  • Internal Communication: Ensure effective internal communications, driving engagement across teams and departments.
  • Events: Lead trade show participation, ensuring consistent messaging and on-site presence managing the process end to end.
  • Data: Gather insights on customers, competitors, and industry trends through events and site visits.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably within the fitness or manufacturing industries.
  • Strong understanding of B2B markets and developing marketing plans.
  • Strong project management skills, a leader who is also a doer.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing, including social media, SEO, PPC, and email marketing would be preferable but not essential.
  • Strong understanding of branding, market trends, and consumer behavior.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Creative, results-driven, and highly organized.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of fitness equipment industry a plus.
  • Familiarity with various software such as Adobe Creative Suite would be a plus.
