We are currently looking for a Marketing Manager to join our Marketing department based in Dunfermline on an 18-month fixed term contract. This is a hands-on, content-led marketing and communications role in the specialised world of medical imaging technology. We’re looking for someone who can confidently lead awareness, education, and public relations efforts that raise the profile of our brand across Europe.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in, or looking to move into, healthcare marketing or marketing with a meaningful impact. Whether your background is in clinical, B2B, or technology sectors, you’ll thrive if you enjoy turning complex topics into meaningful, credible stories that support better patient outcomes.

You will create and adapt content for eye care professionals (optometrists and ophthalmologists) and know how to distribute it through the right channels - from digital platforms to trade media, professional associations, and industry events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You’ll be responsible for top-of-funnel marketing activity that raises awareness, educates eye care professionals, and builds interest in our technology.

Campaign Management

  • Plan and execute awareness and education campaigns across priority EU markets.
  • Manage email marketing activity, including audience segmentation, scheduling, and tracking.
  • Coordinate communications for trade shows, events, and webinars.

Content & Storytelling

  • Work with subject matter experts to create high-quality, clinically relevant content.
  • Adapt messaging for different markets, audiences, and platforms - including translation coordination.
  • Lead social media efforts, with a focus on storytelling and thought leadership.
  • Oversee the production of campaign assets with internal teams, customers, and creative agencies.

PR & Industry Engagement

  • Identify and pursue media opportunities in trade publications and industry press.
  • Develop press materials and support relationships with editors, associations, and partners.

Performance & Tools

  • Use platforms like Microsoft Dynamics , Delivra, and Loomly to manage campaigns and track performance.
  • Monitor, measure, and report on campaign results to inform future activity.

You must also be able to travel to 3 or 4 key tradeshow events across Europe.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Have experience in B2B or healthcare marketing, ideally with a focus on top-of-funnel campaigns.
  • Confident storyteller who can turn complex topics into clear, engaging narratives.
  • Ability to tailor content to different audiences, platforms, and formats.
  • Understanding of digital distribution - email, social, web, paid media, and traditional routes like trade journals and professional associations.
  • Experience managing media relations and proactively seeking out PR and thought leadership opportunities.
  • Strong collaborator, working across functions, time zones, and regions.
  • Bring initiative, attention to detail, and a delivery-focused mindset.
  • Confident managing multiple projects and balancing big picture thinking with hands-on execution.
