Job description
Overview

At McCarthy Stone, we are redefining retirement living, and we are looking for a proactive, hands-on marketer who can deliver smart, locally focused campaigns that generate leads, grow awareness, and build trust in our brand. If you can combine strategic thinking with flawless execution — and you love seeing your work directly influence sales — this is your opportunity to make a real difference.

You might currently be a Marketing Manager, Local Marketing Executive, Campaign Manager, or Community Engagement Lead. What sets you apart is your ability to blend creativity with commercial impact, building relationships that matter and driving marketing activity that delivers results. Organised, adaptable, and data-driven, you will work side-by-side with sales leadership and consultants to bring developments to market with precision and energy. You will be the voice of the customer in every plan, ensuring campaigns are engaging, relevant, and effective.

Create and deliver effective, timed, and budgeted marketing plans to support lead generation and sales conversion.

Build strong local networks with influencers, professionals, charities, and businesses to drive reputation and awareness.

Optimise digital and direct marketing, ensuring every property is presented brilliantly online, across affiliates, and in local campaigns.

Manage promotional signage, paid advertising, and earned media opportunities, bringing creativity and commercial value.

Elevate the customer experience with compelling on-site marketing — from brochures to digital displays.

Report on marketing performance, analysing leads, channels, and ROI, and using insights to drive continuous improvement.

Ensure brand consistency, customer-first thinking, and marketing that always delivers measurable results.

Your Attributes
  • Creative Collaborator — Brings fresh ideas and works brilliantly with sales teams and partners.
  • Relationship Builder — Influences and inspires stakeholders at all levels, building trusted connections.
  • Commercially Sharp — Balances creative flair with a strong focus on ROI and measurable outcomes.
  • Agile Operator — Manages multiple campaigns and deadlines with precision and discipline.
  • Data-Driven — Uses insight and analytics to guide decisions and improve performance.
  • Proactive Leader — Thrives on initiative, driving plans forward with energy and accountability.
  • Customer-First — Keeps the needs of prospective homeowners at the heart of every marketing decision.

Are you a creative, commercially aware marketer who knows how to turn local insights into impactful campaigns that drive sales? Do you thrive on building relationships in the community, partnering with stakeholders, and bringing fresh ideas that put customers at the heart of everything you do?
