Job description

Painshill Park Trust is a charity which protects and restores a stunning award-winning 18th century landscape in the heart of Cobham, Surrey. Our objectives are to preserve and restore the landscape as closely as possible to its original concept and ensure its gifts are shared and accessible to all. Painshill is looking for a creative, self-motivated and organised marketing professional to join the team as its new Marketing Manager.

Painshill is set to enter its next exciting stage of evolution, and is seeking a driven, ambitious marketing professional to join the team. Someone who will improve our visitor numbers and audience development, through strong well planned marketing campaigns and lived experience of audience building.

Working with both internal colleagues and stakeholders, you will be responsible for Painshill's marketing and communications plan, which will include increasing awareness, visitor numbers, membership sales, fundraising opportunities, and promoting all commercial operations to boost income, ensuring Painshill will be here today and for future generations.

You’ll own responsibility for our website, brand, social media and media relations. You’ll live the Painshill brand, developing marketing materials and messaging for a range of products across a range of platforms.

The ideal candidate will have excellent design, verbal, written communication skills, experience of delivering engaging campaigns across a variety of media channels and a passion for growth.

You will be comfortable working independently and as a key player in working groups, with a proven ability for building effective internal and external relationships and a strong customer-focused approach.

If you enjoy being part of a passionate, committed team, having the freedom to experiment with new ideas, and witnessing the difference you make every day, this is the role for you.
