About the role

We\u2019re looking for a Marketing Manager to take full ownership of Focaldata’s brand, content, and marketing operations. Focaldata is building a world-class research brand, powered by a suite of market-defining products. This role is central to taking our marketing to the next level as we launch new products and help shape the emerging AI category in market research. You’ll own how we look, sound, and show up – across our website, socials, and events – while driving a spirit of creative experimentation with new formats, channels, and content ideas. You’ll play a leading role in how we engage with clients, prospects, and the wider industry, and you’ll see the impact of your work directly in the company’s growth and visibility.

What you’ll be doing

This role is equal parts creative and operational. You’ll own our brand identity, manage the content and events calendar, and track marketing performance. You’ll also bring an experimental mindset to explore new channels and formats. Specifically, you will

  • Guard and grow the brand: Own and protect our visual identity, design standards, and tone of voice, ensuring consistency across every touchpoint.
  • Own the content engine: Lead our social presence, manage the content calendar with precision, and tell stories that resonate with our target customers. This includes newsletters, whitepapers, product launches and case studies.
  • Take ownership of the website: Manage the design, content, and upkeep of the website to ensure it reflects our evolving brand and product story. Work with designers and developers to keep it fresh, functional, and on-message.
  • Drive product marketing execution: Create copy and messaging that communicate our product value on the website, in campaigns, and in collateral. You’ll work closely with the product and commercial teams to translate positioning into clear, engaging content.
  • Shape our presence in market: Manage our international events calendar – from breakfasts and dinners to conferences – ensuring we show up polished and with purpose.
  • Drive performance and collaboration: Track and report marketing impact, experiment with new channels and formats, and work closely with product and sales teams to craft campaigns, messaging, and collateral that drive growth and showcase our platform.
Who you are: Skills and experience

You’re someone who can deliver high-quality marketing consistently while spotting opportunities to test and grow.

You’ll have:

  • 3–5 years of marketing, growth marketing, or content experience, ideally in a B2B environment
  • Previous marketing experience in a startup
  • Experience within market research, communications, consulting, or adjacent sectors where insights and storytelling matter.
  • Experience managing website content and design workflows — from updating pages to coordinating design and SEO input.
  • Experience managing social channels and executing content grids/cadences
  • Strong writing, creative, and editing skills — able to take a content idea from brief to publication independently, and improve any asset that crosses your desk (whether it’s a video, deep report, blog, or deck).
  • Familiarity with CRMs and marketing operations — you understand (or want to learn) how to build and run a marketing machine that delivers consistency at pace.
  • Event management experience — from small executive breakfasts to larger conferences — ensuring logistics, design, and messaging are tight.
  • Comfortable with numbers and reporting: you know how to track activity, link it to outcomes, and communicate what’s working.
Who you are: Mindset

You take pride in getting the details right but don’t get stuck in them. You combine discipline with curiosity – able to deliver to a consistent cadence while testing new ideas and channels. You’re someone who cares about quality, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and wants to see your work as a key input in the company’s growth and success. Proactive and not reactive.
