Direct Reports: Digital Marketing Executive (to be hired), Social Media Executive

Responsibilities
  1. Strategy & Leadership
    • Deliver effective marketing plans aligned with NASC's objectives and business strategy.
    • Lead and motivate the marketing team, ensuring operational plans are executed effectively.
  2. Campaign Management
    • Develop and deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns, including email, social media, digital advertising and events.
    • Use tools such as Salesforce, DotDigital and Google Analytics to track and refine campaigns.
  3. Content & Communication
    • Maintain a content calendar, write, edit and proof marketing materials including e-newsletters, press releases and brochures.
    • Engage with external agencies to ensure high-quality, consistent messaging.
  4. Public Relations
    • Build and maintain relationships with media outlets.
    • Draft and distribute press releases, ensuring industry coverage and visibility.
  5. Events & Publications
    • Support the planning and promotion of NASC events and trade shows.
    • Manage the production of key publications, such as the NASC Yearbook and Safety Report.
    • Oversee production of our monthly magazine, Scaffolding Insider, working closely with writers, editors and designers.
  6. Website Management
    • Ensure the NASC website remains current and stakeholder-focused.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years in marketing, with a proven track record in campaign management and team leadership.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional copywriting and communication skills.
    • Strategic and analytical mindset, combined with hands-on implementation expertise.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and marketing tools such as DotDigital, WordPress, PPC platforms and SEO tools.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Creative, with a keen eye for detail.
    • Highly organised and adaptable to changing priorities.
    • Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Qualifications: A degree in marketing is desirable but not essential.
