Bristol based with Hybrid working (2 days per week in office)

Salary: £45,322 to £52,782 per annum plus benefits package

Summary: We are hiring a new Marketing Manager to support our growing business, focusing on our Engineering and Technology sectors. We invite you to review this opportunity if you work in the field and are considering a job move.

In this role, you will be responsible for translating the high-level business strategy of the NCC into effective campaigns and plans that drive growth and position NCC as a world-leading Research & Technology facility.

This is a holistic role in a fast-paced environment, requiring both hands-on and strategic work across multiple projects. You will translate complex information into high-quality creative and written content.

You will sit within the Chief Business Office and collaborate with the Strategic Account Management, Services & Customer Portfolio, and Technology Strategy teams to develop and execute marketing campaigns.

Strategy, Planning & Campaigns
  • Translate NCC's strategic objectives into marketing campaigns that foster growth.
  • Develop and implement integrated campaign plans in collaboration with relevant teams to promote NCC services.
  • Maintain activity grids detailing events, exhibitions, campaigns, and content initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on campaign ROI and effectiveness.
Channels, Tactics & Content
  • Create engaging content across various mediums, including film, case studies, press releases, social media, infographics, and more.
  • Generate a consistent flow of impactful content.
  • Forecast upcoming events and identify relevant activities, sourcing stories from various teams.
  • Manage web content and brochure updates.
Events, Exhibitions & Speaking Engagements
  • Identify and secure relevant events and speaking opportunities.
  • Collaborate with teams to deliver visits and create content for events.
Candidate Requirements

We welcome applications from diverse backgrounds. Ideally, candidates will have:

  • Experience as a Marketing Manager or similar, leading campaigns and producing high-quality content.
  • A background in R&D, Technology, Engineering, or Manufacturing is preferred.
  • Proficiency with graphic design tools like Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong written skills for thought leadership, social media, and web content.
  • Ability to develop and execute effective campaign plans.
