We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Marketing Manager to lead the development and implementation of marketing strategies for a key product portfolio within the consumer healthcare sector. This role is pivotal in driving brand growth and ensuring alignment with broader business objectives and reports to the Marketing Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Director and cross-functional teams to create comprehensive marketing and trade marketing strategies that align with brand objectives.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities within relevant product categories.
  • Monitor competitor activity to uncover insights and opportunities to inform brand strategies.
  • Develop and manage briefs for external agencies (advertising, media, design, etc.), ensuring alignment with brand goals and delivery of high-quality outputs.
  • Execute marketing plans, including:
  • Designing and implementing brand strategies and promotional activities.
  • Preparing regular performance updates and business reports for clients.
  • Managing budgets effectively and tracking expenditure across various channels.

Professional Qualifications and Experience:

  • Demonstrated marketing experience in FMCG, with a preference for expertise in grocery or pharmacy sectors.
  • Experience with health and beauty, personal care, over-the-counter (OTC) products, or regulated industries would be highly beneficial.
  • A recognised marketing qualification (e.g., CIM) would be advantageous; a degree in marketing is preferred.

Required Skills:

  • Proficient in marketing channels, including media and distribution.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen to create robust marketing plans and forecasts.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel (data analysis, financial reporting), PowerPoint (professional presentations), and Word (meeting minutes and correspondence).
  • Experience with sales databases to generate insights for reporting and presentations.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
