About The Role

We are looking for an experienced marketer to continue building the M&S Opticians brand and support appointment generation as we establish ourselves as a leading optical and hearing care provider on the high street. This role will work closely with the Head of Marketing to develop and implement effective multichannel marketing plans. You should be highly organized, capable of managing digital and CRM campaigns, merchandising, promotional projects, and print design. Strong communication skills are essential for managing internal and external stakeholders, including M&S.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Develop and implement marketing plans aligned with KPIs.
  2. Ensure systems are in place for measuring and reporting marketing activity to stakeholders.
  3. Identify and recommend new marketing activities for trial and implementation to grow the business.
  4. Contribute to marketing strategy development through insights and recommendations.
  5. Collaborate with the Head of Marketing to enhance the retail and customer-centric approach.
  6. Act as a guardian of the brand, ensuring compliance across the business.
  7. Manage external agencies, including digital, design, and print.
  8. Develop and manage an effective marketing team.
Who we’re looking for

You will be an experienced marketer, accustomed to working in a fast-paced B2C environment, seeking your next challenge. You should be organized, deadline-oriented, and capable of planning campaigns across multiple channels. Experience managing a direct report is preferred. You must be confident in liaising with stakeholders and analyzing campaign performance to a high standard.
