What the day will look like

The Commercial Risk Solutions Marketing Leader will be a crucial member of the Commercial Risk Solution marketing team who will partner with senior business leaders on key priorities, hot topics, solution capabilities and innovations, to create strategic marketing plans, programs and assets that position the firm for success in close collaboration with the wider global marketing and communications function.

• Work with senior solution line leaders on agreed key priorities and areas of client need to drive thought leadership, content and solution capabilities for core products and solutions
• Liaise with business leaders to understand key growth priorities based on client need and to develop propositions and messaging
• Collaborate with Regional Risk Marketing leaders to deliver and activate robust thought leadership and content while aligning global and regional growth priorities
• Deliver content, product and solution line innovations, based on buyer type and the key areas of client need.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced marketing leader who can work independently but in alignment with the wider team’s objectives to help shape Aon’s vision of the future of broking as we help clients manage the increased volatility and complexity they face with insights and solutions for better decision making.

We are a global team that collaborates with colleagues across all disciplines within the marketing and communications function and with key leaders within the Commercial Risk Solutions business. The role reports to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for Commercial Risk but will also work closely with colleagues across Risk Capital Marketing – which includes both Commercial Risk Solutions and Reinsurance Solutions - and regional marketing teams.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

• Extensive professional B2B and marketing communications experience (CIM qualification and knowledge of insurance broking and the London market desired)
• Excellent writing, editing, and grammatical skills and experience developing compelling and actionable content for a broad range of audiences and a demonstrated ability to distil complex topics into digestible content for multiple mediums.
• Proven success engaging with and influencing C-level executives and cross-functional leaders in a complex, matrixed environment.
• Outstanding skills in researching, copy-writing, proof-reading and constructing effective messaging to position offerings
• Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to execute programs with speed, accuracy and efficiency.
