Are you a bold marketer with a passion for whisky? Do you want to build a brand from the ground up – not just run campaigns, but shape the entire journey?

Prize Whisky is not just another tasting gift set or whisky subscription box. We're a unique blind whisky experience that challenges, educates, and excites. Each undisclosed dram is part of a skill-based competition where customers test their senses and knowledge for the chance to win rare and exceptional bottles.

We’ve run a successful proof of concept. Now we’re ready to scale.

We’re looking for a Marketing Lead / Head of Marketing to take Prize Whisky from a promising startup to a nationally recognised (and potentially international) brand. This is a rare opportunity for someone who’s passionate about whisky and wants more than just a marketing job – this is about ownership, direction, and co-creating something special.

  • Overseeing product storytelling, launches, and go-to-market campaigns
  • Working closely with the founder on commercial and brand direction
  • Playing a key role in fundraising, positioning, and long-term growth strategy
What we’re offering:

We want to be upfront – if you're looking for a large salary from day one, this role isn't for you. Prize Whisky is an early-stage venture, and your earnings will grow as we grow.

But you won’t just be joining a company — you’ll be helping build it. Coming in at what is effectively a founder level, we’re offering:

  • Equity options and meaningful ownership in the business
  • A real say in shaping brand, product, and strategy from the ground up
  • Flexible terms – open to part-time, freelance, phased, or unconventional structures
  • Creative freedom and the trust to execute bold ideas
  • A highly distinctive product and audience with early traction and clear potential
  • Monthly samples of Single Malt Whisky
Who we’re looking for:

You might be a senior marketer looking for something to own. A startup operator with a creative edge. Or an ambitious freelancer ready to go all-in on a new challenge.

What matters most is:

  • You know how to build and grow a brand
  • You can think big but execute lean
  • You’re hands-on, curious, and action-oriented
  • You’re excited about whisky, competitions, or brand storytelling – ideally all three
