We're looking for an experienced Insurance & Member Marketing Lead to take ownership of how we engage with our members, customers and the wider insurance ecosystem. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic marketer and natural storyteller who enjoys creating impactful campaigns, building strong stakeholder relationships and turning complex industry insight into compelling communications.

If you enjoy influencing senior stakeholders and are passionate about delivering measurable marketing outcomes, we'd love to hear from you. This role is a 12-month FTC maternity cover.

What you'll be doing

As our Insurance & Member Marketing Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering marketing and engagement strategies that strengthen relationships with our member organisations and support the growth of our insurance-focused services. You'll:

  • Develop and deliver integrated marketing and communication campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Create engaging content including articles, email campaigns, social media content, presentations and thought leadership pieces.
  • Lead member engagement initiatives that drive awareness, adoption and participation across our products and services.
  • Collaborate with commercial, research, product and data teams to bring campaigns to life.
  • Measure campaign effectiveness, analyse performance data and use insights to optimise future activity.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the insurance industry and member organisations.
  • Support the development and promotion of content within AiQ, our member content sharing platform, helping increase engagement and usage.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery against objectives, budgets and timelines.

You are an experienced marketing professional who combines creativity with commercial awareness and enjoys working closely with stakeholders to achieve shared goals.

We're particularly interested in candidates who have:

  • Excellent copywriting and content creation skills, with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences.
  • Experience planning and delivering integrated campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
  • The ability to engage, influence and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • A data-driven approach, using insights and performance metrics to improve engagement and campaign effectiveness.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience building partnerships and managing external relationships.

Desirable:

  • Experience working within a membership organisation, insurance business or relevant industry sector.
  • Knowledge of the motor insurance landscape.
  • Experience developing engagement or customer communication strategies.

  • Work with recognised experts and industry-leading brands.
  • Shape communications that influence the future of vehicle safety and mobility.
  • Contribute to high-profile industry initiatives and thought leadership.
  • Develop your career within a forward-thinking organisation that values creativity, expertise and collaboration.
  • Enjoy a flexible, supportive working environment with opportunities for professional growth.
Did you know...

Research tells us that men are more likely to apply to jobs if they meet only 60% of the criteria, whereas women often hesitate or don't apply unless they meet all of the criteria. This difference in application behaviour can contribute to the gender gap in career advancement and opportunities.

We know the perfect candidate doesn't exist! If you think you have what it takes but don't tick every box, we'd still encourage you to apply - it could be a perfect fit!
