Role Summary
We are on an exciting journey at MGF and we're recruiting for a Marketing Lead or Junior Marketing Manager to join our growing team, based at our Head Office in Ashton in Makerfield.
The role will support the Head of Marketing in shaping and delivering strategic marketing initiatives while managing the day-to-day execution of campaigns. We are looking for someone with around 5 years of experience or someone who is looking to take that next step in their career who is ready to take ownership of projects, mentor junior team members, and support the department's growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Head of Marketing on campaign strategy and planning.
- Lead the execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
- Manage and mentor marketing team members.
- Oversee content creation, social media, email marketing, and website updates.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide actionable insights.
- Coordinate with external agencies and suppliers as needed.
- Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints.
Essential Skills & Experience
- 4-6 years of marketing experience, ideally in B2B.
- Marketing degree, CIM Level 6 or equivalent experience.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Confident in briefing and reviewing creative work.
- Experience managing or mentoring junior team members.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics & Adwords, CMS, email marketing platforms).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience in the construction, engineering, or manufacturing sectors.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation tools.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
- Data-driven mindset with a good grasp of campaign analytics.
