Mindful Chef Ltd. in London is seeking a marketing-focused Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team and support growth with commercial insight. You will work closely with Marketing and Tech, turning financial data into actionable recommendations in a fast-paced environment.

This role offers ownership, diverse stakeholder exposure, and a chance to influence performance at a mission-driven company backed by Nestlé, with hybrid work from our London office.

Qualifications

• Chartered accountant or nearing qualification with commercial finance interest.

What we are looking for

We’re looking for amarketing-focused Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team and play a key role in Mindful Chef’s next chapter of growth.

This role would suit arecently or nearly qualified chartered accountant, although we’re open to candidates with a range of relevant experience and backgrounds. You’ll partner closely with our Marketing team, using your commercial and financial expertise to help shape decisions, challenge thinking and drive performance.

You’ll be comfortable working in an ultra-fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, building strong relationships across the business and turning financial insight into clear, actionable recommendations.

Cost Control, Budgeting & Forecasting

• Own cost control and accurate cost recognition acrossMarketing and Tech, analysing actuals against budget and identifying key drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Lead thebudgeting and forecasting process for your business areas, partnering closely with department heads to build robust plans and drive accountability.
• Monitoryear-to-go (YTG) spend, highlighting risks and opportunities and helping teams make informed decisions throughout the year.
• Lead regular performance meetings with your stakeholders, establishing clearmetrics and KPIs, turning financial insight into actions and helping improve operational performance.

Reporting

• Ownweekly and monthly financial reporting across your business areas, understanding the story behind the numbers and the actions needed to improve performance.
• Work with stakeholders to agree and reviewmonth-end accruals, ensuring financial reporting is accurate and meaningful.
• Help improve the accessibility and autonomy of key reports, enabling teams to accessreal-time financial insight and make faster, better-informed decisions.

Decision Support & Commercial Insight

• Be thego‑to finance partner for Marketing and Tech, providing financial and analytical support to help shape business decisions.
• Build and evaluatebusiness cases, assessing the potential short- and long-term financial impact, risks and opportunities of new initiatives.
• Review the effectiveness andROI of past investments and activities, carrying out deeper analysis where needed and recommending opportunities for improvement.
• Partner with Marketing and Tech to challenge performance, identify opportunities and move the needle on key KPIs.
• Work closely with the wider Finance team, particularly the CFO, to strengthen commercial insight, challenge and decision‑making across the business.

Your profile

• You’re achartered accountant or nearing qualification, with a strong interest in the commercial side of finance.
• You’reconfident with spreadsheets and data modelling, and enjoy turning numbers into meaningful insights.
• You’re comfortable working withdatabases and queries, or are keen to develop your skills in this area.
• You’regenuinely interested in food and what we’re trying to achieve at Mindful Chef!
• You’reenthusiastic, approachable and ambitious, with the drive to make a difference.
• You’re confidentbuilding relationships and working with stakeholders at all levels across the business.
