Job description

Gather started life as Feast It in 2017 as a booking platform for people to book street food caterers for their birthday parties and weddings. Since then, we have grown to become the UK’s biggest events platform, as Togather, for food, drink, venues, photographers and more.

We’re here to help people make amazing memories on some of the biggest and best days of their lives. Whether they’re planning a company summer party, organising their wedding, hosting a dinner party, or running a festival, we can help with all of it.

We’ve worked with clients like Amazon, Nike, London Pride, and celebrities like Tom Cruise, Star Wars, and Taylor Swift. Recently, we ranked #7 in the Startups 100 Awards and are in the top 15 of Tempo's 50 Best Places To Work. Our team loves what they do, making it a great place to work.

The Role:

We’re seeking a creative, organised, and proactive Marketing Executive to join our marketing team on a temporary basis (initially 12 months). This role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their marketing career to gain experience across retention and brand marketing within a dynamic events business.

You will support the daily execution of our email marketing campaigns, helping create engaging content that drives bookings and keeps our community engaged. Additionally, you will contribute to our social media content, including scheduling posts, storytelling, and creating blog and brochure content.

This role provides broad marketing experience with opportunities to take ownership and contribute innovative ideas.

What you’ll be doing:
  1. Email marketing & CRM: Build and schedule email campaigns for B2C and B2B audiences. Update automated customer journeys and suggest improvements. Communicate updates to customers and suppliers.
  2. Content & copywriting: Create engaging copy for emails, blogs, social media, and brochures. Maintain a consistent tone of voice across all channels.
  3. Social media support: Collaborate with our Brand Lead to schedule and publish content. Interview suppliers and attend events to generate content and highlight stories.
Must haves:
  • Some professional experience in marketing, internships, or similar roles
  • Confidence in writing clear, engaging marketing copy tailored to different audiences
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Customer.io)
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
Nice-to-haves:
  • Marketing degree or relevant education
  • Basic design skills (Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Experience with website CMS (e.g., Webflow)
  • Experience creating social content, videography, photography, editing
  • Salesforce experience
  • Data analysis and reporting skills
  • Interest in events, food, or hospitality industries
  • Experience in startup or fast-paced environments

Our offices are in London with a hybrid working model requiring at least 3 days in the office weekly.

We value diversity and are committed to equal opportunities. We especially welcome applications from underrepresented backgrounds.

  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Enhanced pension scheme
  • EAP support services
  • Enhanced maternity & paternity leave
  • Free coffee, beer, pizza, snacks at the office
  • Discounts at top London restaurants and bars
  • Team socials and events
  • Shiny new MacBook
  • Invitations to food industry events
  • Dog-friendly office environment
