Job summary

KD Recruitment Limited is seeking a Marketing Executive to join a dynamic North Yorkshire marketing and digital team. You’ll create engaging content, optimise SEO, support events, and collaborate across departments to implement the marketing strategy.

You’ll develop graphic design elements for marketing collateral, coordinate with external agencies, and craft internal content highlighting the wider business. This is a full-time hybrid role with flexible working options.

Qualifications

• Generalist marketing experience across multiple channels.

• Creativity to develop new marketing ideas.
• Some digital marketing exposure (SEO/PPC) is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging content including blog posts, web content, press releases and more.
• Develop SEO/ GEO-optimised content and PPC ads.
• Support the team in implementing the marketing strategy.
• Create and adapt graphic design elements for collateral.
• Coordinate and attend events and represent the company at functions.
• Collaborate with other departments to align marketing with business goals.
• Produce internal content to showcase wider business activities.
• Liaise with external agencies to ensure on-brand, high-quality deliverables.

What the Marketing Executive job involves

• Creating engaging content, including blog posts, web content, press releases and other written materials.


• Creating SEO / GEO optimised content.


• Support the wider team to implement the marketing strategy.


• Developing and implementing graphic design elements for various marketing collateral.


• Coordinating and attending events.


• Supporting and attending a variety of events, including sector-specific, networking, charity, and careers events.


• Collaborating with teams across the business to align marketing efforts with business objectives.


• Crafting compelling advertisements for PPC campaigns.


• Creating internal content for employees to see what the wider business is involved with.


• Working with external agencies to make sure that projects are on brand and of the high quality needed.

Skills required

• Demonstrable generalist marketing experience.


• Experience in copy writing with strong attention to detail.


• Ability to create diverse content.


• A proactive and self-sufficient approach, with the ability to work independently.


• The ability to think creatively and develop new ideas.


• Some digital marketing experience, such as PPC and SEO optimisation, would be highly advantageous to support the team's digital efforts and reduce reliance on a single digital specialist.
