Marketing Executive

Location: Potters Bar, Hertfordshire (Hybrid)
Type: Full-time | Permanent

About the Company

we're partnered with a specialist provider of supply chain assurance and subcontractor risk management solutions for the construction sector. Leveraging innovative technology and deep industry insight, they help clients streamline contractor onboarding, ensure compliance, and de-risk supply chain operations. With rapid growth and a client base that includes some of the UK’s leading main contractors, the business is expanding its commercial and marketing capabilities to support continued success.

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and versatile Marketing Executive to join a growing team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience across multiple marketing channels and a solid understanding of both B2B and B2C strategies. Reporting to the Head of Commercial, you’ll play a key role in planning, executing, and optimising marketing initiatives that generate leads, increase brand visibility, and support business growth.

You’ll be involved in everything from campaign creation to performance tracking — ideal for someone who enjoys variety and wants to make a visible impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow the company’s presence across social media platforms (LI, Instagram, etc.)

  • Support the maintenance and optimisation of the company website (basic CMS knowledge a plus)

  • Plan, build, and execute email marketing campaigns targeting both B2B and B2C audiences

  • Develop and repurpose content including blogs, case studies, and email sequences to support campaigns and drive engagement

  • Collaborate with sales and operations to align campaigns with key business objectives

  • Support the development of marketing collateral including brochures, PDFs, and slide decks

  • Track performance metrics across digital channels and report on campaign effectiveness

  • Coordinate with external agencies and freelancers where needed

  • Ensure brand consistency across all platforms and marketing touchpoints

About You

We’re looking for a confident, creative, and commercially minded marketer who’s comfortable working across multiple disciplines. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and bring a can-do attitude to a collaborative team.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • 2+ years of marketing experience (in-house or agency), ideally in a B2B environment

  • Solid understanding of digital marketing channels: social, email, content, and SEO fundamentals

  • Experience using CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress) and email marketing tools (e.g. Mailchimp, HubSpot)

  • Strong copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences

  • Confident working with data to assess campaign performance and identify improvements

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise workload independently

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset

Desirable:

  • Experience in the construction or compliance space

  • Basic design skills (e.g. Canva, Adobe Suite)

  • Familiarity with Google Analytics or similar reporting tools

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a dynamic marketing role with genuine room to grow and shape your own career path.
