Marketing Executive

Department: Commercial - Marketing

Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time

Location: Oxford, UK

Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly organized marketer to coordinate Aurora’s key touchpoints with clients and the wider energy industry.

You will be the marketing and communications contact for our EMEA subscription products, planning and executing strategic marketing campaigns and working with regional teams to coordinate marketing across digital and offline channels.

In terms of tech stack, you’ll regularly update our WordPress website, post from our company LinkedIn social media profile, and keep the cogs oiled by planning out our projects and content schedules. You’ll also become familiar with our Salesforce CRM system and Account Engagement marketing automation platform. You will assist with raising brand awareness of Aurora and our experts by arranging speaking opportunities at third party conferences and providing tactical advice to our regional teams around personal brand-building.

You will need to work pragmatically, be a supportive team player, and be confident to generate creative ideas that engage audiences.

If you have 3+ years’ marketing experience, are looking for more responsibility, and are interested in playing a part in global energy transformation, this job is for you!

Key Responsibilities
  • Be the marketing and communications representative for several of our regional product teams.
  • Plan, execute, and optimize integrated marketing campaigns across digital, email, social media, and print channels.
  • Manage all subscriber fulfilment comms (including GM invites, webinar invites and reports) to ensure engagement with our EOS platform and help mitigate churn.
  • Lead the development and refinement of sales enablement materials, including presentations and case studies, ensuring consistency in messaging and brand.
  • Drive CRM-based marketing initiatives, including segmentation, lead nurturing workflows, campaign automation, and reporting.
  • Manage and grow the company’s social media presence; create and schedule content aligned with both brand objectives and commercial needs.
  • Maintain and update website content in collaboration with key stakeholders, ensuring it reflects marketing priorities and business goals.
  • Conduct and present market research and competitive intelligence to inform marketing strategies and positioning.
  • Track and report on marketing performance metrics, drawing actionable insights to improve campaign effectiveness and share learnings with sales and leadership teams.
  • Assist with event planning and execution, i.e. trade shows, speaking opportunities and webinars.
What we are looking for

Required attributes:

  • 3+ years of marketing experience
  • Proven ability to work closely with sales teams and align marketing initiatives with revenue goals.
  • Strong working knowledge of CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce) ability to create campaigns, manage data, and report on performance.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills, with a proven record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to craft compelling marketing content and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools is highly desirable.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-performance environment and able to shift priorities as needed.
  • Self-starter with a proactive attitude and a high level of attention to detail
