Montgomery Group is looking for a creative Marketing Executive to support the delivery of two new summit and exhibition launches. You will help build two event brands from the ground up, work across the campaign lifecycle to grow audiences, build communities and support successful launches. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will deliver integrated marketing campaigns that support visitor and delegate acquisition, exhibitor and sponsorship sales, and grow both event brands. The role suits someone who enjoys variety and wants to develop a career in event marketing.
Position Overview & Key Responsibilities
Campaign Delivery
- Support the Marketing Manager to plan, deliver and optimise integrated multi-channel marketing campaigns across two launch events.
- Deliver visitor and delegate acquisition campaigns to meet attendance targets and maximise return on investment for exhibitors and sponsors.
- Coordinate campaign activity across email, web, social, digital advertising, partnerships and print, delivering campaigns on time and to a high standard.
- Monitor campaign performance and recommend ways to improve results.
- Ensure activity meets budgets and project timelines.
Brand Development
- Support the development of two new event brands, building a strong market presence from launch.
- Maintain event websites, ensuring content remains accurate, engaging and up to date.
- Produce collateral, presentations and digital assets that support exhibition, sponsorship and delegate sales.
- Ensure marketing communications follow brand guidelines and maintain consistency across customer touchpoint.
- Develop social media channels and digital content that increases engagement and grows the event communities.
Audience Growth & Community Engagement
- Support the development of audience personas and targeted customer communications.
- Work with the Data Team to maintain and grow visitor and exhibitor databases, supporting segmentation, acquisition and data quality.
- Build relationships with media partners, associations, suppliers and other partners to maximise campaign reach and engagement.
- Communicate with exhibitors, visitors, and partners to support customer service and engagement throughout the event cycle.
Commercial Collaboration
- Work with the exhibition and sponsorship sales teams to support exhibitor acquisition, retention, and promotional activity.
- Partner with the delegate sales team to deliver campaigns that attract high-quality delegates.
- Work with the content team to promote conference programmes, speakers and thought leadership content.
- Work with operations, finance, agencies and other teams to ensure campaigns support wider commercial objectives.
Market Development
- Represent Montgomery Group and the event brands at networking events, exhibitions, conferences and customer meetings across the UK and internationally, where required.
- Understand the industries the events serve by monitoring market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback.
Administration & Campaign Support
- Maintain partnership trackers, campaign schedules and marketing activity plans, keeping information accurate and up to date.
- Coordinate campaign assets and content to meet deadlines across multiple projects.
- Support reporting and analysis through maintaining accurate marketing data and performance metrics.
- Use AI-powered marketing tools to improve productivity, campaign delivery and customer engagement.

Competencies
- marketing experience within exhibitions, events or a B2B marketing environment is desirable.
- Strong understanding of integrated marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels.
- Good understanding of digital marketing, including email marketing, social media, SEO and PPC.
- Experience using digital platforms to build emails, update websites and manage online content.
- Strong copywriting skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, able to manage multiple projects.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and marketing platforms.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Willingness to use AI-powered marketing tools to improve productivity and campaign performance.
- A genuine enthusiasm for live events and willingness to work flexibly and travel when required to support event delivery.

The central London, dog-friendly offices are in a Georgian townhouse close to Oxford Street & Marylebone High Street with private access to Manchester Square Gardens. A minimum of 4 days in the office, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Some flexibility will be required to meet business needs.
