Marketing Executive
Chester - Hybrid working
£27,000pa

A brilliant opportunity to join an elite organisation executing, evaluating and optimising sales and inspirational e-mails across relevant brands to improve customer retention according to content marketing plans and contribution KPIs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, create and deploy the email marketing schedule across all relevant brands to an agreed framework (frequency and format)
  • Develop and refine a suite of e-mail templates to ensure the efficient execution of the programme
  • Ensure alignment of messaging within emails with the content calendar used across all communication channels
  • Periodically assess the targeting of emails to maximise sales opportunities and minimise any risk to domain scores
  • Generate new campaign ideas to drive performance
  • Track competitor activity to identify further opportunities
  • Deploy the testing framework across the e-mail schedule, to assess the potential for alternative solutions to drive improved performance
  • Maintain the KPI report, which shows results for the whole email programme and identify opportunities to constantly improve core metrics
  • Be proactive in working positively and effectively across the wider marketing team and other functions across the business
  • Ensure all activity is consistent with brand guidelines and integrates with other digital and offline activity
Skills and or education required
  • 2 years+ experience of working with ESP platforms
  • Experience in email marketing or digital marketing roles with a strong understanding of email marketing principles, best practices, and metrics.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative and engaging content
  • Strong business and marketing acumen with an ability to identify business opportunities, deliver results, and adjust plans as appropriate
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to determine partner or market success focused around ROI
  • Results-driven individual who enjoys working as a team but can also thrive independently
