Role Overview

We are seeking an energetic and self-motivated specialist in marketing and events to drive our digital and event marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, support the sales team with lead capture and contribute to the growth of our media platforms and events. International travel is a core part of the role, as the team attend several events each year – the ideal candidate will be required to attend events in the Middle East region as well as globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Digital Marketing: Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across email, social media, and web platforms to promote our publications and events.
• Content Creation: Produce compelling content in cooperation with the Editor and Designer, including articles, newsletters, and social media posts, tailored to our target audience.
• Event Promotion: Plan and implement marketing strategies for our conferences, including promotional materials, advertising, and attendee engagement.
• Analytics & Reporting: Monitor and analyse campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics and social media insights to inform future strategies.
• Collaboration: Work closely with editorial, sales, and design teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all platforms.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a marketing role, preferably within B2B media or events.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, Canva etc.).
• Strong writing and editing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with SEO and content marketing best practices.
• Experience in event marketing and promotion.
• Highly adaptable to join a close-knit team
• Flexibility to attend international trade events throughout the year

• Knowledge of the Publishing and/or B2B media industries.
• Experience with CRM system integration and marketing automation tools.
• Creative mindset with an eye for design and branding.
