Marketing & Events Coordinator

Location: Northampton - NN3

Hours: 34 hours per week

Type: Permanent

Salary: £26-28,000

This is an opportunity for you to join an international business that specializes in its industry. The company is forward-thinking and invests heavily in employee engagement, encouraging the team to pursue further qualifications.

Working in a team of 3, you will be responsible for coordinating marketing campaigns and events.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  1. Plan, develop, and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns
  2. Manage social media platforms and engage with online communities to enhance brand presence
  3. Organise, promote, and host their webinar series
  4. Work with our outsourced provider to organise and deliver their events programme
  5. Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to enhance marketing strategies across social media, e-mail communications, and websites
  6. Create digital content including news items, blogs, and press releases to promote key activities including events and awards programme
  7. Support the day-to-day tasks of the marketing and communications team
To be successful in this role, you must have:
  1. A Marketing/Events Qualification or experience in a similar role
  2. Experience in managing content, writing engaging copy, and proofreading
  3. Understanding of digital marketing commercial applications
  4. A self-motivated, proactive approach to working
  5. Familiarity with SEO, e-mail marketing platforms, and social media tools
  6. Relevant IT skills - Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Canva or Photoshop
  7. Ability to influence at a peer group level
