Job summary

Blue Legal is recruiting a Business Development & Marketing Executive for its London office. You will work closely with the Business Development Director and Marketing & Communications Director to drive client engagement, raise the firm's profile and support growth.

You will manage submissions for legal directories, conduct market research, support client targeting, develop BD materials, coordinate the CRM, and assist with events and campaigns to deliver strategic outcomes.

• Excellent written communication, organisational and project management skills.
• Proactive and collaborative with CRM experience and interest in market research.

Business Development & Marketing Executive

Blue Legal is partnering with a leading boutique law firm to recruit a Business Development & Marketing Executive for its London office. Working closely with the Business Development Director and Marketing & Communications Director, the successful candidate will support a broad range of business development and marketing initiatives that help drive client engagement, raise the firm's profile and support its continued growth.

The Responsibilities:

• Manage the firm's legal directory submissions programme, coordinating high-quality submissions for leading legal directories and working closely with partners to gather matter information, manage deadlines and oversee referee processes.
• Support business development initiatives by conducting market research, identifying new business opportunities and assisting with client targeting, cross-practice campaigns and relationship-building activities.
• Develop and maintain business development materials, pitch content and proposal documentation, ensuring resources remain accurate, engaging and up to date.
• Coordinate the firm's CRM system, maintaining data integrity, supporting user adoption and assisting with the continued development and optimisation of the platform.
• Assist with the planning and delivery of client events, networking opportunities and business development meetings, working alongside internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Analyse legal directory and market feedback, providing insight to support future submissions, profile-raising opportunities and business development strategy.
• Work collaboratively with partners and colleagues across the firm to deliver marketing and communications projects that support the firm's strategic growth objectives.

The Candidate:

• Previous experience within a marketing and/or business development role in a legal or wider professional services environment.
• Excellent written communication, organisational and project management skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A proactive and collaborative approach, with experience using CRM systems and an interest in market research, client development and delivering high-quality marketing initiatives.
