If you're a strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and leadership, this is your opportunity to lead transformative marketing initiatives across diverse product lines— Enterprise Infrastructure, Services, Commercial PC Client, Consumer PC, and Phone brands.
In this role, you’ll lead the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing and brand strategy for the UK and Ireland region, aligned with Lenovo’s global business objectives.
What will you be responsible for in this role?
As the UK&I Marketing Director, you will:
• Define target audiences and market positioning for each product line: Establish clear, strategic positioning for products and services, tailoring messaging to resonate with various target audiences.
• Brand Relationship Management: Effectively balance Lenovo brand identity and marketing strategies with alliance, partner and sponsor brands to optimize co-branding opportunities and funding routes.
• Oversee integrated marketing campaigns across various channels: Coordinate comprehensive marketing campaigns that leverage multiple channels (e.g., digital, print, social media, events) to maximize reach and impact.
• Drive demand generation and lead nurturing strategies: Implement effective strategies to generate demand for products and nurture leads through the sales funnel, ensuring high conversion rates.
• Develop go-to-market strategies driving all routes-to-market: Create detailed plans for product promotion, marketing and outreach activitiesdesigned to optimize visibility and adoptionacross consumer and commercial segments.
• Manage and optimize the marketing budget to ensure strong ROI: Allocate resources efficiently, monitor spending, and adjust strategies to ensure a strong, identifiable return on investment for all marketing activities.
• Set clear objectives and provide regular feedback to the marketing team: Lead and mentor a diverse marketing team, fostering creativity and collaboration. Define measurable goals for the team, offer constructive feedback, and support professional development to foster a high-performing team environment.
• Collaboration with Business Leaders: Build strong, collaborative relationships with sales, product management, operations, finance, and global marketing teams to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with overall business goals.
What do you need to succeed in this role?
You’ll thrive in this position if you bring:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in senior marketing roles within the technology sector. Understanding of global and local markets, channels, and ecosystems with exceptional marketing strategy alignment experience.
• Experience with AI-driven marketing and automation platforms.
• Ability to develop and execute an ABM strategy.
• Experience driving measurable business growth and brand success.
• Proficiency in digital marketing, brand management, and market research, including SEO/SEM, social media, and content marketing.
• Experience with CRM systems for lead management and campaign tracking.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to workand lead in a matrix organisation
