We're seeking an exceptional Marketing Director to lead the marketing strategy for Reuters Events . About the Role
As Marketing Director at Reuters Events, you will:
Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive delegate acquisition and sales, retention, and revenue for Reuters Events conferences.You'll translate commercial objectives into compelling campaigns and marketing plans with clear KPIs and ROI targets.
Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement whilst collaboratingclosely with product, content, sales, and external agency partners to deliver successful event marketing campaigns.
Leverage data, market research, and customer insights to identify new growth opportunities and optimize campaign performance.
Design and implement best-in-class demand generation campaigns across digital channels (SEO/SEM, email, social, display, web) to grow the delegate database and delegate revenue.
Oversee segmentation, lead sourcing, nurturing, and conversion tactics in partnership with sales, analytics, and data teams, establishing and monitoring campaign performance metrics and continuously optimize for improved results.
Own the consistency of the Reuters Events brand, ensuring alignment with the broader Reuters brand and corporate strategy.You'll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure marketing communications, collateral, and campaigns reflect a cohesive visual and verbal identity.
Manage the marketing tech stack, ensuring seamless integration of content, creative, analytics, and automation across the customer journey.
Provide insightful marketing performance reports and business reviews to senior leadership.You'll implement metrics to effectively measure ROI and contribute to the transparency and accountability of marketing investments, c onducting A/B testing and leveraging analytics to drive measurable improvements in marketing productivity and delegate conversion rates.
About You
Demonstrable experience in B2B marketing, preferably in the events, conferences, or information services sectors.
Demonstrable success in driving revenue growth and expanding customer databases through digital marketing and demand generation.
Expertise in developing and executing multi-channel marketing strategies and managing end-to-end campaign delivery.
Leadership and people management skills, with a passion for talent development and accountability and leading through change.
Deep understanding of marketing operations, CRM, and automation toolswith experience of ensuring adherence to privacy regulations
Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.
Analytical mindset with a strong attention to detail and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (I.E MBA).
