Job Description
The Marketing Director is a high profile and influential role, which is pivotal to the future success of the organization as it enters into a phase of accelerated organic and inorganic growth. The role reports to the Chief Commercial Officer, and manages a team of 30+ FTEs over several geographies.
Overall, the EMEA &APAC Marketing Director is responsible for 6 key objectives:
The role is therefore responsible for managing all aspects of planning, development and implementation of marketing strategies, integrated marketing plans, and corporate communications activities across Experian's EMEA & APAC footprint. It also oversees the development and implementation of all client-facing sales and marketing materials, manages marketing services & infrastructure (e.g. digital, CMS, events, eDM platform), directs the efforts of the marketing team (central teams & in-country field marketing) and is responsible for the region's corporate communication strategy.
The role will be intellectually stimulating providing a great chance to make a direct impact on the bottom-line performance of the business. The position will combine all elements of B2B marketing (content development, product marketing, marketing campaigns, lead generation, online marketing, events and PR) and corporate communications, drawing on both proven strategic and operational skills.
Extensive marketing experience, strategic and commercial outlook, attention to detail and ability to operate effectively in an international matrix organization (and particularly with sales) are instrumental for success in this role. Previous experience of Big Data solutions and/or high-end B2B services and/or banking / financial services / Telco would be greatly advantageous.
