Contract: 12 months fixed-term contract, full time

About the role

The Marketing Designer supports the Senior Designer, Marketing team and business as a whole in designing intuitive, effective and easy-to-use marketing assets and solutions that will satisfy and delight our customers. You will work with marketing and BD colleagues to bring those designs to life and ensure that assets are delivered on time and in alignment with Trinity visual identity and brand guidelines.

  1. Source and edit images, graphics, and other visual elements as needed.
  2. Assist in creating marketing design assets including those which use new creative treatments and visual identities: social media layouts, visual assets for websites, print and digital graphics, marketing campaign assets, branded sales enablement assets for the complete range of marketing channels.
  3. Work collaboratively with designers in other departments to ensure visual consistency on crossover projects.
  4. Act as brand steward, pursuing high quality visual design and ensuring assets adhere to brand guidelines and established visual treatments.
  5. Work with Senior Designer to ensure that work is prioritised appropriately to meet business needs, is delivered on time, and is of a high quality which meets the brief.
  6. Provide design support for other teams in the business who require creative support – as requested by Senior Designer.
  7. Make revisions based on feedback and ensure final designs meet project specifications.
  8. Collaborate with both designers and non-designers in the company (eg Content, Product, Marketing) to ensure their work adheres to brand guidelines, and is visually aligned with Marketing direction.
  9. Work with marketing team colleagues to identify and prioritise the customer challenges to solve on the various channels.
  10. Proactively bring ideas to the table on new ways to engage our users and improve the way we work.
  11. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and design techniques.
  12. Manage project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.

About you

  1. Education/Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  2. At least 1-2 years of experience as a designer – preferably in an environment with a variety of competing demands requiring prioritisation.
  3. Experience working on a range of assets types for a wide range of channels eg. social media, website, event assets, presentations, digital and print collateral.
  4. Sound knowledge of design trends and social media evolution.
  5. Ability to work on a variety of projects simultaneously whilst learning and adapt to new situations, solving problems and developing new skills.
  6. Strong attention to detail and ability to work within deadlines.
  7. Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign essential), Canva and PowerPoint.
  8. A strong portfolio demonstrating a foundation of design principles, as well as creativity and versatility across digital channels.
  9. Good communication skills with the ability to explain your feedback and reasoning to relevant audiences.
  10. Willingness to grow and learn in a fast-paced environment.
