Location: London (Holborn), Hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days remote)

Salary: circa £35,000 depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

As part of our in-house Design & Production Studio, you’ll collaborate with creatives and marketers to produce engaging, on-brand copy across channels. You’ll work on briefs from Brand Marketing, Ecommerce, CRM, and Product & Propositions — creating content that connects with both leisure and business audiences.

Your work will include:

  • Headlines, ad copy, articles, video scripts, merchandising content, and UI experiences
  • Campaigns and product launches that enhance our brand
  • Tone of voice development and brand guideline updates
  • Competitor and industry trend analysis to keep content fresh

You’ll shape how Premier Inn communicates with customers, ensuring every word has impact.

Who you’ll work with:

  • A close-knit team of copywriters and designers
  • Stakeholders across Brand Marketing, CRM, Ecommerce, and more
  • External creative and media agencies
  • Occasionally, other internal teams needing copy support

What you’ll bring:

A creative mindset with attention to detail and love for language. You should have:

  • Experience in marketing copywriting, preferably in a brand or agency (retail experience is a plus)
  • Strong understanding of tone of voice, storytelling, and content strategy
  • Ability to adapt copy for different channels and audiences
  • Knowledge of SEO, word count limits, and regulatory guidelines
  • A collaborative approach and interest in career growth in content and editorial

Bonus points if you have experience with:

  • UI/UX teams or digital products
  • Broadcast or video content
  • Tone of voice development and brand guidelines
  • Tools like Figma and Jira
