Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic marketing professional who is looking for a challenging and exciting role. Based in the Future Students marketing team, you will contribute towards the effective planning and delivery of a range of business as usual and project specific marketing activity.

About the role

Specifically supporting the Health and Education portfolio, you will deliver high quality, audience-focused online and offline marketing content. You will also be responsible for handling internal and external queries from a range of stakeholders (including the general public and staff), supporting campaigns and collating information for marketing reports.

About you

You will be an outward looking, forward-thinking marketer with great all-round marketing skills including digital advertising, commissioning design, content production, publication development, social media, CRM, email lead generation, copywriting, proof-reading and event organisation, as well as excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

About the Marketing team

This is an exciting opportunity to be based in a high performing department which is responsible for brand, events, digital and creative services, all with a focus on raising the profile and reputation of the University.

The Future Students marketing team are responsible for all future students recruitment marketing activity and plans. The team work cross-university and across other areas of marketing to align strategy, implement creative and impactful plans to support priorities. This role is part of the Health and Education subject team who own and manage the relationship between faculties and marketing and are the subject marketing experts. You will be expected to work closely with other teams including Recruitment and Admissions, and marketing teams across Campaigns and International, sharing expertise and best practice.

We are going through exciting changes to put marketing excellence, impact and staff development at the heart of how we work. The integrated Marketing team will provide full mix marketing support aligned to the University priorities across Education, Research and Reputation, to help deliver against our strategic objectives. We are investing in the department and the team, creating great opportunities.
