Marketing Content Manager - Social Media & Website Optimisation

£47,500 - £57,500 + Strong Benefits (Pro Rata)

7 Month Contract

Southampton 1 day per week, WFH 4 days

Our client, a well-known international business are looking to hire a Social and Content Lead to plan and execute content across social media, in-store and web to help grow one of their key new brands.

The Role:

  • Continuously improve and develop the sub-brands communication strategy and plan, mainly across website optimisation, SEO and Social Content.
  • Plan and execute communications across social media, in-store, website, print and product messaging plans
  • Create content - copy, visual guidelines and briefs for agencies
  • Build relationships with internal teams like packaging and wider marketing to ensure all messaging is aligned
  • Lead activation and rolling out campaigns
  • Track performance and optimise campaigns, identify where messages are working or could be stronger, and evolve your plans based on customer behaviour and trends.

What We’re Looking for:

  • Experience in a complex, matrixed organisation is essential, ideally with an international scope.
  • Experience in B2C marketing, a focus on social but ideally with a wider skillset – campaign management and optimisation, website optimisation and SEO.
  • Experience in a fast-moving sector would be very beneficial like retail, FMCG or similar.
  • Collaborative with the ability to build relationships across functions and cultures.
  • Strategic mindset with ability to get hands on with content creation.
  • Experience briefing agencies would be advantageous.
