Job description

Location: Hybrid virtual and on-site at restaurants in Somerville, Cambridge, Brookline, and Wellesley

About the Role: We’re looking for a creative, self-starting Marketing & Content Manager to join our team and bring our restaurant brands to life through social media — especially video. This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes food, knows their way around TikTok and Instagram Reels, and can turn a fried chicken sandwich or a bubbling lasagna into content that makes people stop scrolling.

You’ll be working directly with the Marketing Director to assist in executing a content strategy that’s already in motion. You won’t be responsible for writing captions or building campaigns from scratch — instead, you’ll be capturing, editing, and helping manage the rollout of that content across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation & Social Media Management

  • Film and edit video content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) at the restaurants
  • Capture engaging photo and video content, including chef specials, behind-the-scenes prep, menu launches, sizzling grill shots, late-night crowd vibes, B-roll of the restaurant vibe and crowd energy
  • Stay on top of social media trends, popular audio, and viral formats to keep our content fresh
  • Support with light graphic design (Canva is fine!) for story slides, promo graphics, or email visuals

On-Site Restaurant Presence

  • Regularly visit each restaurant location (Somerville, Cambridge, Brookline) for content shoots
  • Support in capturing content for events, promotions, and seasonal campaigns

Collaboration with Marketing Director

  • Partner closely with the Marketing Director to help manage the content calendar and weekly rollout
  • No copywriting needed — just strong visual storytelling and an eye for content timing

Influencer Coordination

  • Assist in organizing and capturing influencer visits and UGC moments

Preferred Skills:

  • Video editing in CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar
  • Food photography or styling skills
  • Experience with Canva or other graphic design software

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Reliable transportation
  • A passion for food, hospitality, and local culture
  • A strong understanding of current social media platforms and content formats
  • A natural sense for trends, timing, and what makes something watchable
  • A flexible schedule and ability to travel between restaurant locations
